Titan Car App
Titan is a fictional car brand I created for my Google UX Certificate program. The challenge was to create an app that helps users solve a pain-point while researching and solving challenges users might face in navigating the user journey.
THE PROBLEM
Outdoorsy individuals/explorers who want an easy and convenient way to schedule a car service appointment.
THE GOAL
Design an app for Titan that helps users conveniently schedule and track a service appointment.
USER JOURNEY
As a user I want a quick link to ‘Schedule Service’
As a user I want a user account addition to the app that would allow me to add vehicles, schedule appointments and view service history
As a user I want a ‘service update’ txt in the app that allows user to see when the car is pulled into the shop and estimated service time
DESIGN SYSTEM
The design system incorporates iconography, typography, and a color scheme to convey the brand. The web and desktop versions use a 4X-column system for clean design and consistency. Typography and color are also used to convey hierarchy.
DIGITAL WIREFRAMES
Using the completed set of digital wireframes, I created a low-fidelity prototype. The primary user flow I connected was scheduling a car service so the prototype could be used in a usability study.
USER JOURNEY - CAR SERVICE APPOINTMENT
This is the main user journey of using the Titan app to quickly and conveniently schedule a car service appointment.
